Born and raised in Penang, Koh Yung Shen who goes by the monicker of Schizzow, started his interest in rap & hip-hop in high school. He began writing and textbattling with other fellow local aspiring rappers online in the year 2002, and not contented with just being a “text-cee”, Schizzow produced and released his first single in the following year. Several other home-productions and recordings followed before Fundamental Mentalities was formed together with a close friend Wormy, who now produces beats for his current releases. With the guidance of veterans Shazzy and Hokkien-rap pioneers D’Cuzzy, Schizzow released the Back2DBasix EP in 2004, which sold-out its 200 copies in one week.

In late 2004, Schizzow joined an underground rap outfit Poetry Phalanx which was formed through the online Malaysian underground hip-hop portal thebazement. com. Poetry Phalanx would eventually be known as just Phalanx and was recruited by The Rebel Scum into the Rogue Squadron clique. Along the journey in search of a style that would best define himself, Schizzow has released numerous underground singles, including cameo appearances on other rap releases, and also another album, Sentimentalities. Today, Schizzow’s music leans more towards conscious rap, although he is not quite done with punchlines and battle tracks just yet.

In 2007, Schizzow had the opportunity to perform alongside Poetic Ammo emcee Point Blanc when he became the hypeman for the latter for a brief stint. Point Blanc proceeded to release his solo album, which featured Schizzow on one of the tracks. Although mostly heard and seen at gigs and performances in his hometown Penang, Schizzow has also performed at many stages in Kuala Lumpur and also recently in Singapore. While he usually graces the stage for solo performances, from time to time he shares the stage with fellow Rogue Squadron emcees as well. While he already has some prominence and notoriety in the island of Penang, as both a rapper and a graffiti artist, Schizzow is now rapidly climbing up the ladder for his share of dominance in the Malaysian hip-hop circuit. With the release of his longawaited solo effort, The Schizzowphrenic, Schizzow has already put in a big step in his journey to be at the pole position of the Malaysian rap scene, and already making some serious progress.

Apart from rap and graffiti art, Schizzow is a graphic designer by day, and not only does he design his own album cover arts, he has also directed, edited and produced his own music video for the song Beautiful Imperfections.

After completing her education, she decided to form a duo act, Confucius Says, where they signed a recording contract with an independent label (Koch International) and a publishing contract with major label, Universal Publishing. Their debut single Not in Blue was released in early 1997 and their second single Window was released in autumn of the same year. A seasoned player in the music industry, Melissa has had more than her fair share of experience working the infamous UK music industry: hours spent in the studio writing, recording and producing original material for a debut album, countless photo shoots, shooting and producing two of her music videos, newspaper and magazine coverage, cable television and radio interviews across the country as well as TV performances. She was also featured on the UK's BBC1 National Lottery Programme televised live to 14 million viewers. After ‘retiring’ from the music industry in the UK over the last few years, Melissa came back to Malaysia for a well-deserved holiday. It was here that she put together a band of musicians, called them The Misfits and played a few gigs at the local club scene. With the enthusiastic response from the public, it didn’t take much persuasion to get Melissa back into music. This time round, in addition to writing and recording original material in the studio she is also exploring the ‘live side’ of entertaining: getting out there and playing to people in the flesh! Moving back home to KL in mid-2004; the following year, she and The Misfits by popular demand, have been performing together at various events. At the more formal events, where entertainment is required at a “sit-down” dinner, Melissa has been known to accompany herself on the piano along with a full band line-up. Her entertainment skills can take her with ease from bringing down the house at a nightclub with rockers and party animals to performing at formal sit down dinners. Melissa recently composed the music and wrote the lyrics to “I am Malaysia” to commemorate the 50 years of Independence of Malaysia. This song will be launched at a Gala Dinner – “An evening with the Prime Minister – 50 Years: The Beat of Business” in June 2007. She will perform this song with a choir comprising 40 children, including the great-grand children and grand children of Malaysia’s 5 Prime Ministers! Melissa composed the music and wrote the lyrics of 90% of the songs featured in the album and is hands on with the music production and vocal arrangement of all the songs.

'Bedroom Sanctuary' is Bo's definition of acoustic and raw music. It brings out the soul of this 21 year old music producer. Unlike his other musical acts, Bedroom Sanctuary is his expression of warmth, honesty and the basic story of his life.

Amir Iqram a.k.a. Bo discovered his passion for music when he picked up his first guitar at the age of 10. He then spent most of his weekends hanging out at music shops fiddling around with all the instruments in the shops. But playing around with instruments was just not enough, which led him to compose originals. At the age of 15, he gathered up with his high school mates and formed a jazz-rock band, Seven, which has been around for a while now. He soon discovered sequencing programs such as Fruity Loops and Reason which gave him the freedom to compose and produce his own electronic, house, neo-soul and experimental music. Bo now has his own defined style and sound. Bo can be heard in bands such as Seven, Deserters, CosmicSpaceMunkys, and his very own acts such as ‘Grandeur Of Decibel’ and ‘Bedroom Sanctuary’.
